This is part of a wellbeing project for NHS staff.  Here are contents from the half day workshop. We recorded the workshops and you can find them on youtube via the video menu.  Here are the links to the handout of resources and handout from the 1/2 day workshop.

The workshop consisted of an brief introduction to ACT, some seated Yoga, and the NHS wellbeing and resilience offer. 

This website is designed around the ACT matrix framework.  Working through the menu should help explain the matrix, and offer a path to a personal wellbeing plan. You are welcome to jump in anywhere of course, and will find exercises within the ACT matrix menu.

Introduction  We start with definitions, as quite often resilience and well-being are mentioned together. The terms can be applied to organisations as well as individuals. Some well-being initiatives are focused mostly on individuals which can generate negatviity.

 Resilience definition (oxford dictionary)

The capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness

The ability of a substance or object to spring back into shape; elasticity

Wellbeing definition

The state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy

This project focuses on both service and individual resilience/well-being
